HIV/AIDS SERVICES PROGRAM
Testing services for HIV, HCV, and other sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s) are offered at the Marin Health & Wellness Campus. See STD Services for testing hours and other information. If you would like automated information regarding HIV and HCV, please call (415) 473-7515.
HHS Health Clinics HIV/AIDS Services (formerly The Specialty Clinic) is a multidisciplinary medical clinic providing primary HIV medical care and case management to people living with HIV/AIDS, including access to Ryan White services, Partner Counseling, and referral services. It also provides consultative Hepatitis C (HCV) medical care to Marin County residents. Services are available in English and Spanish.

IMMUNIZATION
Childhood, adult, and travel immunizations, and tuberculin (TB) skin tests are provided. Adverse reactions to immunizations should be reported by telephone to: (415) 473-4400.
Vaccines are available by appointment. Please note, if you are more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, you will have to reschedule your appointment or, as clinic capacity allows, you may be able to wait to be seen. Drop-in clients may be seen as clinic capacity allows or will be offered an appointment during the next available clinic.

Back-to-School Tdap Immunization Clinic
No shot, No school! New California law requires students entering 7th grade to provide proof of Tdap immunization in order to enter school in the Fall of 2012.
County of Marin Health and Human Services will be holding a FREE Tdap vaccination clinic on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Davidson Middle School from 10am to 2pm, while vaccine supply lasts. Students from any school in Marin County may attend this clinic.

Payment is due at the time of visit. Accepted payment methods are: Medi-Care, cash, check, debit/credit cards, and Medi-Cal. (Partnership Medi-Cal clients must have a referral authorization form on file from their primary care provider.) Many travel vaccines are not covered by Medi-Cal or Medi-Care. The ultimate financial responsibility lies with the patient. We do not accept private insurance, but we will provide you with a receipt should you be able to seek reimbursement from your insurance company.

It is your responsibility to tell us which vaccines you need for your travel itinerary. Please contact your physician for anti-malaria medications. We provide vaccines, but we are not a travel clinic. Again, please check with your physician and the CDC website to determine your vaccine needs.
TB testing is offered on a drop-in basis during Immunization Clinic and requires two visits: one for test placement and one for test reading two or three days later. The cost for this test is $20.

If you have had a positive PPD skin test reading in the past, you will not be given a PPD skin test in our Immunization Clinic. You must come in to obtain a chest x-ray referral during one of the designated drop-in times:

As the medical component of the STD Prevention and Control Program, the clinic provides confidential services to clients, including: testing for STD's, diagnosis, treatment, examination, counseling/case management, partner follow-up, and certain family planning services.
This is a drop-in clinic with no appointments. Drop-in clinic services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis with a limited number of spaces each day. We encourage you to arrive before the start of the clinic and cannot guarantee that everyone will be seen that day. Please call 473-4400 for current cash pay prices on STD services and testing.
Testing includes: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, HIV, and cultures of any present sores or lesions.
Services are free for ages 12-17.

TUBERCULOSIS (TB ) PREVENTION AND CONTROL PROGRAM
As the clinical component of the Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Program, services include tuberculosis diagnosis, treatment of suspect and active cases, and preventive treatment. Directly observed therapy is provided both at the clinic site and elsewhere in Marin. Medi-Cal, MediCare, Insurance, and fee for
service accepted. Please note: TB skin tests are only provided through the Immunization Clinic. Please see the Immunization Clinic section for information and clinic hours.
