Choices for Living 2009
The comprehensive housing resource guide, includes a listing of all older adult housing options, including independent, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, with a description of their services and fees.

The 2009 Edition of Choices for Living is available in hardcopy by calling our Information and Referral Line at 415-457-4636.

An updated version should be available in the spring of 2012.

FY 2009-2012 Area Plan
Includes demographic highlights of the older adult population in Marin, identifies needs and priorities, describes services, sets forth objectives to be accomplished by the Division of Aging and Adult Services and the Marin County Commission on Aging and includes a complete Division budget.

2011-2012 Division of Aging Contracts with the State of California

Results from a nutritional needs assessment of a sample of low income older persons in Marin.

An Emerging Need: Alzheimer's Disease & Dementia Care in Marin
Results of 17 key informant interviews on the successes and service gaps in the care of persons with dementia in Marin County.

One of 28 California Department of Aging Long Term Care Innovation grants.
Project Independence trained 32 Volunteer Advocates and matched them with 63 persons at-risk of nursing home placement at discharge from local hospitals.
