Novato Dial-A-Ride

Novato Dial-A-Ride is a bus service that provides passengers curb-to-curb pick-up and drop-off service and is available to all residents in the Novato service area. All trips must start and end within Novato and/or adjacent unincorporated areas of Novato, including Blackpoint. The service will make stops at any safe location within the eligible service area

To use the service, residents must schedule their trip in advance by calling 892-7899.

Novato Dial-A-Ride will operate seven days a week as follows: Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. On weekdays, reservations may be made up to seven days in advance or on the same day, although, advance reservations are recommended. On Saturdays and Sundays Novato Dial-A-Ride will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with same day only reservations starting at 8:00 a.m.

Fares are $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for youth, seniors, and disabled. Local passes are accepted. Unfortunately, the service is not able to accept stored value cards or TransLink at this time. Transfers from Marin Transit and Golden Gate Transit service are accepted. Novato Dial-A-Ride passengers are also able to make free transfers to Marin Transit and Golden Gate Transit fixed route services.
