Recent efforts have focused on the implementation of the "Near-Term Ag Support Plan"

Past Efforts
Initiation of "Super" Williamson tax benefit program for preservation of agricultural lands
Provided financial support for a business and marketing plan for the Marin Organic Label project
Assisted MALT with extension of Prop 70 funding for easements
Initiated Board of Supervisors action to provide $250,000 for MALT
Supported Animal Damage Control contract and funding for non-lethal predator control
Support for past and ongoing efforts to establish funding for agricultural easements in Marin County
